INNOVATIVE METHODS FOR RAPID RECOVERY

Presented by Kendra Simpkins, MSW, LCSW

6.5 CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS

Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) is a trauma-informed method that is supported by neuroscience and evidence-based techniques. This innovative approach targets the limbic system where emotional responses are activated. Learn the latest cutting-edge research in neuroscience and how to utilize neuroplasticity to create new neural pathways for positive change and healing. RRT is a gentle, respectful, active and an integrative approach that works without subjecting individuals to needless pain and re-traumatization.

Having the capability to safely address trauma is essential for mental health and wellness professionals, as most patients have experienced some form of trauma. Whether having met with that individual once or many times, integrating RRT techniques results in emotional freedom and the ability to move ahead much more quickly and effectively in as little as one session!

This revolutionary approach is more effective in facilitating rapid and lasting transformation than all other methods combined.
— Robert Schenck, PhD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

With this process, you’ll feel energized when your clients report relief and clarity.  Learn how empirical studies of neurogenesis and neuroplasticity inform RRT.  It has been shown to create a healing experience and alleviates limbic system activation, as well as guilt and shame often associated with military related traumas.

In this training, you will learn:

  • Methods to deactivate the “flight or fight” response of trauma.

  • Strategies to resolve moral injury and survivors guilt.

  • A strengths-based approach for civilian reintegration, the “new normal” and creating purpose.

  • Current trends in neuroscience regarding the mind and body impact of trauma and creatively utilizing memory reconsolidation to resolve trauma.

  • How to prevent compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma.

  • How to facilitate completion of treatment goals at a faster pace.
