RELEASE THE FUTURE

FROM THE PAST

A Gentle Approach for Healing

Survivors of Sexual Violence and Childhood Abuse

Presented by Jon Connelly, PhD, MSW, LCSW

Sponsored by the Institute for Survivors of Sexual Violence, Inc.
a 501(c)(3) Organization

5 CONTINUING EDUCATION CONTACT HOURS

Every 92 seconds, an American is a survivor of sexual assault. Every 9 minutes, that survivor is a child.* Learn how the ongoing effects of sexual violence and childhood abuse can be quickly and painlessly eliminated. Video recordings of actual sessions will demonstrate exactly how these issues can be resolved. Learn how strategic, multi-level communication engages both the conscious and subconscious mind to promote health and resolution. (*RAINN (2019) https://www.rainn.org/statistics)

This training provided me with very fast and highly effective clinical skills. Its impact on my clients has been more beneficial than any other psychotherapy method I have learned.
— Barbara Russell, PsyD, MSW, LCSW, Clinical Social Worker

Strategic, multi-level communication is effective without subjecting individuals to needless pain and possible re-traumatization. This gentle, respectful and active approach engages and transforms the conscious and subconscious mind so individuals realize, through every facet of their mind and body, that traumatic past events are finished and no longer exert any troubling influence. Negative thoughts and emotions are replaced with feelings of relief, peace, excitement, passion and security. Energy is released, healing takes place, and the desired change is automatic.

UPON COMPLETION OF THIS TRAINING, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Compare alternative methods to effectively address sexual violence and childhood abuse as opposed to other types of traumas.

  • Explain why sexual violence and childhood abuse have additional issues that need to be addressed.

ABOUT THE CREATOR & TRAINER: JON CONNELLY, PhD, LCSW

Jon profile pic 2.jpg

Dr. Jon Connelly is the author of Life Changing Conversations with Rapid Resolution Therapy, a book demonstrating that a single conversation can dramatically improve one’s life. Thousands of mental health professionals have attended Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) trainings with Dr. Connelly. His students state that his trainings have enabled them to become much more powerful and effective healers. Dr. Connelly founded the Institute for Survivors of Sexual Violence, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is the research and development of cutting edge treatment for survivors of trauma. His early career experiences as a child protective service worker and clinical supervisor in a program that supported teens who had experienced emotional trauma, childhood abuse and/or sexual violence helped to shape the birth of RRT. As a result of these experiences, he became committed to finding a way to relieve suffering. Dr. Connelly has taught college classes in human sexuality and group dynamics prior to providing post-graduate training programs for health and mental health professionals. Dr. Connelly is licensed as a clinical social worker and holds a doctorate in Clinical Pastoral Counseling.
