INNOVATIVE METHODS FOR RAPID RECOVERY
Presented by Kendra Simpkins, MSW, LCSW
6.5 CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS
Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) is a method that is supported by current neuroscience and evidence-based techniques. This innovative approach targets the limbic system where emotional responses originate.
Learn the latest cutting-edge research and how to utilize neuroplasticity for positive change and healing. RRT is a gentle, respectful, active and integrative approach that works without subjecting individuals to needless pain and re-traumatization.
Having the capability to address trauma is essential for mental health and wellness professionals. Whether having met with that individual once or many times, integrating RRT techniques results in emotional freedom and the ability to move ahead much more quickly and effectively in as little as one session!
With this process, you’ll feel energized when your clients report relief and clarity. RRT is known for creating a powerful healing experience and alleviating the limbic system effects of trauma as well as the guilt and shame often associated with military related traumas.
After completing this training, you will be able to:
Discuss the neurobiology of trauma and how it impacts the body.
Strategies to resolve moral injury and survivors guilt as well as anger, resentment and other secondary effects.
Generate integration of traumatic memory through memory reconsolidation.
Construct the reintegration process into civilian life, creating a purpose through the use of neuroscience.
Distinguish the level of emotional attachment to the trauma and resolve subconscious conflicts of no longer experiencing the effects of trauma.
Apply gentle, experiential methods to integrate the psychological and physiological effects of trauma.
Identify emotional triggers and how they cause the individual to relive the trauma.
Describe the characteristics of the veteran population and compare the effects of 4 current treatment options.
Assess if a past event needs resolution.
This beginning level training will include live lecture as well as filmed and live demonstrations which will enable you to understand and see the results!
