Unlock the Power of Rapid Resolution Therapy® (RRT) to Transform Trauma Treatment
Are you ready to revolutionize the way you approach trauma treatment? This 12-hour course is designed for mental health professionals seeking an innovative, brain-based, and non-pathologizing method to resolve trauma quickly and effectively. Say goodbye to prolonged exposure therapy and re-traumatization—learn how to help clients experience lasting relief from trauma symptoms with Rapid Resolution Therapy® (RRT).
What You’ll Gain
By the end of this dynamic training, you will have a deep understanding of how trauma responses are a function of the mind’s survival mechanisms rather than evidence of pathology. You will be able to explain trauma symptoms from a non-pathologizing, brain-based perspective and shift clients' views to reduce distress and promote healing—without requiring them to relive past trauma. You will also gain clarity on memory consolidation and memory reconsolidation, mastering the science behind how memories are formed, stored, and updated.
Additionally, you will learn the key components of an RRT session tailored for single-event trauma, helping clients experience immediate relief and profound resolution. Strategies to prevent abreaction will be covered, ensuring sessions remain productive and free from distress. You will explore the concept of ‘ghostbusting’—clearing old emotional imprints that continue to influence present experiences—and apply two powerful interventions to release these disturbances effectively. Finally, you will develop the ability to identify when a single-event trauma has been truly resolved so you can confidently assess when a traumatic memory no longer triggers distress.
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
Explain the cause of trauma symptoms from a non-pathologizing, brain-based perspective.
Define the concepts of memory consolidation and memory reconsolidation.
Outline the key components of an RRT session for a client who has been experiencing trauma symptoms from a single event.
Describe three ways to prevent abreaction.
Explain what is meant by ‘ghostbusting’. Provide two examples of ghostbusting interventions.
Describe how to know if the resolution of a single event trauma has been achieved.
